There's this great fountain on a hill overlooking Stuttgart. It was a gift to the neighborhood long ago. Today it's used as this neighborhood's meeting place for drawing, a quiet moment with a sweetheart or a pick-up game of ping pong.

Opening an ice cream bistro across the street was a stroke of genius.

These bookmarks and gift tags are inspired by this place and for me anyway, bring back lots of great memories.

Color Note: This clipboard is charcoal gray/black withmedium gray accents. I mix colors for each piece individually, so the exactshades of each color may vary slightly from one piece to the next. This “NatureSymbols” series coordinates well together because the same paints are mixed tocreate the gray and charcoal colors.

Another highlight of these clipboards is the brushstrokepattern. They look hand-painted with care, and the marks of theprocess are still visible, adding to the sense that each is one of a kind.
